TAG Paintball Field

TAG Paintball Field is an outdoor paintball field located near San Jose, Monterey, and Santa Cruz in Hollister, California. See the chart below for distances and drive times to other cities and points of interest.

T.A.G. Paintball claims to be the oldest paintball field in Northern California. Established in 1985, they have established a long track record of excellence.

T.A.G. stands for "The Adventure Game".

T.A.G. Paintball Field Description


T.A.G. Paintball features a very cool Hyper Pipe course.	The Crucible Course at TAG Paintball.	Spool Field at T.A.G. Paintball

T.A.G. Paintball Field is located on 70 brushy and grassy acres and consists of 9 courses. There are 5 Concept (man-made) courses and 4 brush/natural fields. T.A.G. Paintball Field also features a variety of bunker types. They also own 5 airball fields they can set up when needed.

There are 4 natural-terrain courses in the creekbed. This area is large enough for 400 vs 400 players!

As we mentioned above, there are 5 concept courses at T.A.G. Paintball. Concept courses include the following: Hyper-pipe, CQB, Spools, XO, and Barrels. We have provided photos and descriptions below.

XO Course

The CBQ Course at T.A.G. paintball lends itself to several interesting types of games. The XO course at TAG Paintball is named after the distintive bunkers featured on the course. An "X" is formed by 2 pieces of plywood. They are held together by a slotted barrel (the "O").
